Constructed from Japanese gabardine Merino wool, the Sword Jacket draws strength from both fabric and form. The dense black wool drapes with quiet precision, while brushed antique silver hardware — crafted in Japan — punctuates the garment like armor detailing: gemstone rivets, embossed shank buttons, and a custom-tone Excella zipper speak in restrained shine.

The body structure references the utilitarian roots of the Type-1 jacket, but adds modern function — including discreet side pockets and a full Bemberg lining (also sourced from Japan) for comfort and durability. The contrast between the soft wool and the sharp metallic accents evokes a sense of stillness before motion — like a blade drawn, held just at the edge.
